Molassas Cookies with White Frosting
Ingredients:
1 cup butter of margarine
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup molassas (LT)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger, mutmeg, cloves (each)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
3 eggs-beat for 1/2 min. after adding eggs
4 cups flour if sifted or 3 3/4 cup unsifted blower-beat 2 minutes
Directions:
1. Mix together and spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
2. Bake 12 -15 minutes at 325°.
For White Frosting...
1.

Scald 3 tablespoons Milk (till it bubbles a little) then add Powdered Sugar till thick, enough to drizzle on hot cookies.
